Christmas at The Prince of Wales at Iffley is kept simple. Good food and time with the people you actually want to be with. We’re now taking bookings for Christmas Day lunch and festive gatherings for December 2025, and once the tables are gone, that’s it. It’s a real village Christmas here – open fires, roast dinners and no stress over cooking or cleaning.

If you’re planning Christmas Day with family or organising a December meal with friends or work, we’ll be running set festive menus with roast turkey, all the trimmings and vegetarian options. It’s not fancy or over the top. It’s proper Christmas food, done well, with a relaxed pace so you can settle in with a drink and enjoy your day.

Locals around Iffley and Oxford already know how quickly Christmas books up here. We’re a small pub and we don’t cram people in. When the dining room is full, we stop taking bookings, so if you’re thinking about joining us this year, don’t leave it too late.
